What is the reason for cutting out white flour?  Is it only to get the fiber benefit out of whole wheat products?

Hi Gwen,

Yes, looking for more fiber and nutrients from whole grains...doesn't necessarily have to be whole wheat. In fact if you have any kind of autoimmune diagnosis or IBS-d or IBS-C or gluten intolerance then please avoid wheat, rye, barley whole or otherwise. White flour or white sugar are something you will want to limit or completely avoid for at least 3 full cycles.

Now if you think you have a gluten intolerance or sensitivity I always suggest you first be screened for celiac disease before you think about removing wheat or gluten from your diet.
